Santa Baby

The girls had their Winter Festival last week at The Goddard School. It's a fun night for all, they have a lot of activities for the kids like cookie and ornament decorating, crafts, the chance to run from classroom to classroom with their school friends and the ever eventful picture with Santa.

Now, Emma and Ally are professionals, they smile and get in and get out when it comes time for Santa pictures but Kate is still learning, she talked a good game all day about sitting on his lap and even put on a brave face as we waited for our turn to get next to the big guy...everything was going as planned and then Santa's helper placed her on his lap and the mood changed quickly to panic, then screaming then hysterics, good times, good memories and a great photo! Here are some pics from the night:

Picture This

Getting ready for picture day is always a stressful time from, what to wear, to getting the girls to cooperate and wear those outfits is usually the first half of the battle...then there's the hair and the lip gloss and the battle of how much lip gloss is to much lip gloss and believe me the list goes on, but once the kinks were worked out we had a great day. A special thanks to Mother Nature for providing a beautiful and warm November day to have our family pictures taken as well as a big thank you to Scott Louis for making the day go so smooth, he gave us a lot of great photos to choose from, below are just a few shots from the day.

The BOO Crew

What do you get when you have one butterfly princess, an adorable pirate and the cutest Ariel mermaid? Three girls who were bouncing off the walls for night to come and a lot of treats to help fuel their fire!

What a fun Halloween we had on Saturday night....Emma and Ally were beyond excited to hit the neighborhood and Katie was beyond excited because Emma and Ally were beyond excited! I don't think they anticipated that they would have just as much fun handing out candy to all the trick or treaters once they got home.

They were so cute, it was scary!!! Below are some pics from the night!

Love & Hate

I love this time of year but I hate the start of cold and flu season. Our house has already been plagued with both, so either we are getting this out of the way early or it's the beginning of what's going to be a very long winter.

Before everyone came down with some sort of illness we had a great day at Stuckmeyer Pumpkin Patch where we celebrated our friend Megan's birthday. We also were able to put up our Halloween decorations...we are usually the house that does to much but this year it's in pretty good taste ...not sure how that happened but they are up and we love it! I have every intention on taking a picture of the house at night so when I actually do it I will post it to the blog.

Anyway, Happy October and below are some pictures from the pumpkin patch!

School Time

The school supplies were bought and lunch was packed, we had one excited kindergartner and one scared pre-schooler both set to embark on new adventures. Emma started kindergarten at SMMA and Katie started pre-school at The Goddard School this month. All in all we've seemed to survive the start of the new school year. Although, we are still adjusting to all the new routines that come with having to be at school or should I say be at school on time everyone seems to be doing well.

Besides the excitement of school, August was a busy and fun month. We had a couple of birthday parties, a trip to the Zoo, a night at the Grizzly's game and a beautiful Sunday at the wineries in St. Genevieve.

Below are some first day of school pictures and misc. pics from the month!

Happy Birthday Emma!

Six years ago today we became parents, our parents became grandparents and our brother and sister got their first niece. You blessed us with your presence and changed the game for everyone and one thing is for sure, you immediately stole our hearts. You are growing up before our eyes and we are so proud of the little girl you are becoming. I can only imagine what the future holds for you but we all know whatever path you take you will make it a journey that includes all of us and we can’t wait!
